Review: Best Bath Store's 'Acne Facial Bar'

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great Christmas day!

Review time!

This product is yet again from the Best Bath Store, a website that has all natural face and body products! I forgot to mention in the Intensive Eye Treatment review (found below) that they are located in Woburn, MA. My order usually gets to me in 2 days after I place it. Super fast!

Anyway, this was one of the products I tried in my 5 free samples. It is normally $5.95 plus shipping for a 3.5 ounce bar. I got a very good size sample that lasted me 3 months. Prior to receiving my samples, I was watching one of gtgirly's videos on youtube on a review of her samples, and she decribed the way that she uses the product. Instead of lathering it all up in your hands, she said that using only the shortest edge does a much better job of getting the soap on your face and the bar lasts much longer! So, that is the way I use mine to. *I cut my bar into 4 slices, so it lasts much longer. I got my brother a bar for Christmas and I told him how I use it "the correct way" ;P

I use this product at night as a deep cleansing before I go to bed. It was a bit drying at first (and I have oily skin), so I recommend a good moisturizer after using it. My skin is used to the bar, now. At first I used the bar right before I got in the shower at night, because I was so afraid of it getting wet. However, when I started noticing that I was getting more blemishes around my hairline, I decided to give up and take it in the shower with me. While it does get and remain wet unless you dry it off (I dry off my Strawberry Feels Forever massage bar that I take in the shower with me - haha!), I am more free to wash all around with the soap, including my chest where I've been frequently getting blemishes.

Like all of the Best Bath Store's products, this bar is ALL natural. The ingredients are: Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Hazelnut Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Organic Manuka Honey, Seaweed Powder, White Willow Bark Extract, Australian Olive Green Clay, Vitamin E, Essential Oil Blend.

Now, the fact that Olive Oil is the number 1 ingredient is something that I love! I use Olive Oil on my face a lot..enough to know that Olive Oil has a lot of nutrients and beneficial properties in it. Olive Oil actually reduces the appearance of acne scars!
I also know that each ingredient in the acne facial bar is beneficial to the skin, so the fact that it is put all together is even better! Some people might not like the fact that it doesn't have salicylic acid in it, but that's part of the point..the bar is ALL natural. There is no acid. But, I do use my Oil-Free Acne Cleanser by Neutrogena (WITH salicylic acid) in the morning, and this at night and the combination, along with my Tea Tree Water Toner from LUSH and a few other things, makes my skin look almost flawless.

I really hope you guys check out this product and try a sample of it! If you have mild acne or even a lot of acne, I say give this bar a try :) It is my HG of acne cleansers now!
