Review: Best Bath Store's 'Acne Facial Bar'

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great Christmas day!

Review time!

This product is yet again from the Best Bath Store, a website that has all natural face and body products! I forgot to mention in the Intensive Eye Treatment review (found below) that they are located in Woburn, MA. My order usually gets to me in 2 days after I place it. Super fast!

Anyway, this was one of the products I tried in my 5 free samples. It is normally $5.95 plus shipping for a 3.5 ounce bar. I got a very good size sample that lasted me 3 months. Prior to receiving my samples, I was watching one of gtgirly's videos on youtube on a review of her samples, and she decribed the way that she uses the product. Instead of lathering it all up in your hands, she said that using only the shortest edge does a much better job of getting the soap on your face and the bar lasts much longer! So, that is the way I use mine to. *I cut my bar into 4 slices, so it lasts much longer. I got my brother a bar for Christmas and I told him how I use it "the correct way" ;P

I use this product at night as a deep cleansing before I go to bed. It was a bit drying at first (and I have oily skin), so I recommend a good moisturizer after using it. My skin is used to the bar, now. At first I used the bar right before I got in the shower at night, because I was so afraid of it getting wet. However, when I started noticing that I was getting more blemishes around my hairline, I decided to give up and take it in the shower with me. While it does get and remain wet unless you dry it off (I dry off my Strawberry Feels Forever massage bar that I take in the shower with me - haha!), I am more free to wash all around with the soap, including my chest where I've been frequently getting blemishes.

Like all of the Best Bath Store's products, this bar is ALL natural. The ingredients are: Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Hazelnut Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Organic Manuka Honey, Seaweed Powder, White Willow Bark Extract, Australian Olive Green Clay, Vitamin E, Essential Oil Blend.

Now, the fact that Olive Oil is the number 1 ingredient is something that I love! I use Olive Oil on my face a lot..enough to know that Olive Oil has a lot of nutrients and beneficial properties in it. Olive Oil actually reduces the appearance of acne scars!
I also know that each ingredient in the acne facial bar is beneficial to the skin, so the fact that it is put all together is even better! Some people might not like the fact that it doesn't have salicylic acid in it, but that's part of the point..the bar is ALL natural. There is no acid. But, I do use my Oil-Free Acne Cleanser by Neutrogena (WITH salicylic acid) in the morning, and this at night and the combination, along with my Tea Tree Water Toner from LUSH and a few other things, makes my skin look almost flawless.

I really hope you guys check out this product and try a sample of it! If you have mild acne or even a lot of acne, I say give this bar a try :) It is my HG of acne cleansers now!

I am in no way affiliated with The Best Bath Store. I got the sample for free, and purchased the full size myself. Everything said is my honest opinion and review of the product.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you are all having a fantastic day and spending it with family and friends!

Review: Best Bath Store's 'Intensive Under Eye Treatment'

So here goes for the first review!

I was first able to try this product back in September when I ordered my 5 free samples (plus $6.95 shipping) from The Best Bath Store. For those of you that don't know, the Best Bath Store is a company that makes facial and body products with all natural ingredients. The products have no preservatives and the ingredients on the products are ones I can actually recognize and not some chemical stuff!
The website's description of the eye treatment is:
"Brighten your best facial feature with precious natural minerals. Designed to reduce puffiness, wrinkles, and skin discoloration, this intense treatment penetrates deep for short term results. With an intricate blend of ingredient such as Soy & Rice Peptides, Watermelon Extract, Green Tea Extract, Vitamin C and E, this intensive treatment will effectively fight all signs of aging."

My sample lasted me a good 3 months, which is a LONG time for a 0.035 oz sample! When I was close to running out of my sample, I ran to the website and purchased the full size product, which is 0.7 ounces. It is bit pricey, $34.50 for the full size, but I can tell it will last me a long time!

Now, on to why I love this product so much. I have stuggled with dark circles pretty much since I started middle school. I've tried every type of strength concealer to cover them up, but I just got tired of all the work and how dark they were. When I saw other youtubers mentioning ordering the 5 samples from The Best Bath Store, I visited the site and got some of my own.
After I started using this product, I noticed a dramatic difference in my circles in the short time of 4 days. I woke up one morning before school and BOOM, I didn't have to cover my circles anymore! They were incredibly lighter!
Now, while the product says that it helps to reduce wrinkles (aka fine lines), I haven't noticed a difference. But, however, I am young and do not have many fine lines.

Overall, I definitely recommend trying the sample of this product! Everyone's skin and body is different, so it make work differently for you, but I still suggest giving it a try! You get to try it basically for free as well as 4 other fantastic samples! I also recommend trying the Acne Facial Bar. How that has affected my face will have to be saved for another review...
