Vlog/Blog Sale! - Destashing Before Moving!

Hi guys!
Quick update for those interested. If not, skip to the video & goodies :P
I took my last test ever yesterday and I'm SO happy. I've been more than moderately overwhelmed this last year as Brija Cosmetics has grown trying to maintain my grades in college. I graduate officially next week and will be working on Brija and Youtube full time now. I'll also be starting Yoga Teacher Training in the Fall, which I'll complete mid 2016 and then I can start teaching! If you want to hear about my yoga journey, check out the Yoga playlist on my youtube channel

Because I need more space for Brija, Aaron and I are moving to a house with our roommates within the next month! The house we're moving into feels like a dream and I can't wait to show you guys - we got a great deal. Anyway, I cleaned out some stuff from my makeup collection. Let me know if you see anything you're interested in!

I'm Doing It. No More Birth Control Pill.

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted. I'm still in school (graduate in my May) and my business, Brija Cosmetics, has kept me quite busy. You can also find me on my Youtube channel twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

If you haven't seen my recent diet update, you can watch it here. Basically last month I started having adverse effects to soy, and I asked for some advice on birth control methods. I have been on the birth control pill for 6 years, and with every fiber of my being I hate being on it, especially because in the last year I have made such strides in my health and wellbeing.

In April of 2013, I developed Seborrheic Dermatitis and it has consumed my life since then. In September of 2013, I decided to go gluten and dairy free in order to try to help my dermatitis. It did go away, but any time I eat gluten or dairy, it comes back. And now soy. I really truly think the birth control pill did this to my body, and that's why I've decided I'm officially going off of the pill. I'm almost in tears typing this because I'm so happy. The idea that I might not have to be so restricted in my diet anymore, and that my dermatitis might go away, literally makes me want to burst into tears. I'm so nervous, but incredibly excited.

I know in my video I mentioned I was scared to try the temperature tracking method. However, some amazing person mentioned the Lady Comp to me. Essentially it is a machine with a thermometer that tracks your temperature and gives you a green, yellow, or red light. Green means you're good to go and have sex, and yellow and red means caution or no. I've researched it for hours and talked with Aaron and my mom. And it's a go. It's crazy expensive, but I know it will be worth it. I'm looking forward to being able to track my temperature and get to know my cycle better.

I've also purchased the book that many recommended, Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I finally have the time to dedicate to learning about this method, and I'm confident that after getting to know the method, I will be comfortable using it as my main form of birth control.

I can't thank my subscribers enough for the suggestions they left on my video and the support I've received recently. This was the final push to get me go off of the pill. I have one more week until I start the Lady Comp, and it will be full speed ahead. I've purchased some supplements to help with the hormonal transition, but if you have any feedback or advice, please share! Feel free to post a comment here, or email me at iluvjesse444@me.com. I'll be doing 2 week updates here on my blog, and probably 1 month video updates on my Youtube channel.
